On March 24, 2021, Changde City and Huawei held a deep strategic cooperation negotiation meeting. Vice Mayor Tang Zuoguo and Huawei Access Network Product Line President Zhou Jun attended the negotiation meeting.

    The meeting pointed out that in recent years, our city has had good cooperation with Huawei, and Huawei has made contributions to the industrial development and upgrading of our city. At present, our city is focusing on the construction of smart cities. In terms of smart buildings in smart cities, there is great potential for cooperation in the All Light City project. At the same time, the low-carbon and environmental protection value of the Quanguang City project is also worth paying attention to. Our city took the lead in the province in proposing to build a demonstration city of "carbon peak by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060". Currently, relevant experts are being organized to conduct preliminary research on facility conditions and technical paths. Both parties can further negotiate on specific cooperation matters.

     The meeting requested that Huawei further increase its support for Changde City, promote Changde more, attract cooperative enterprises to invest in Changde, and promote the construction of relevant industrial chains in Changde. And increase support for existing partners who have already settled in Changde. Governments at all levels and relevant departments in Changde will also increase support and investment in policies, technology, and other aspects to help relevant enterprises adapt and meet Huawei's needs.

   Li Yuzhi, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Changde Economic and Technological Development Zone, presided over the negotiation meeting. Feng Zhishan, general manager of Huawei Access Network Home Network, and others attended the negotiation. At the meeting, the attending leaders witnessed the signing of the FTTR project framework cooperation agreement between Changde Chengfa Trading Co., Ltd. and Huawei's industrial partner Hunan Xingtong Electronic Technology Co., Ltd.
